Situated in the town of Altea –a stylish resort with a beautiful old town– also known as the ‘jewel of the Mediterranean’ on the Costa Blanca in Spain. A small private development of 12 houses. We are proud to present our charming 4 bedroom Spanish house with stunning views of the coastline and mountains. Within walking distance of the beach and Old Town yet only minutes away by car from busy tourist resort Benidorm.
The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a east facing patio area, a west facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
The villa is 40 min from Alicante airport.
90 min from Valencia.
15 min from Benidorm.
10 min from Alfaz del Pi.
Spanish Town House accommodating up to 7 people
Our house faces east/west with beautiful sea view. The house has 2 double, 1 twin bedroom plus 1 single bedroom (a cot is available if required). There are two bathrooms, the main one has bath with shower and bidet -the second bathroom a shower only.
There is a large living room with terracotta floor and an open fire place leading to the awning-covered terrace with dining table and chairs for your nice meals outside. There is also a lovely terrace at the front of the house with a table and sitting for six and a barbacue, which enjoys the evening sun. All bedrooms have a balcony or terrace. Upstairs there is a sun terrace accessed from the master bedroom with views over the bay. Inside there is a dining table seating six for meals indoors.
There is a modern fully fitted kitchen with updated appliances and everything that the chef might desire -right down to a rounder filled with spices... Entertainment comes from TV (satellite with English channels) with DVD (selection provided), video and hi-fi in the living room.
The house is on four floors, so not suitable for handicapped of infirm people.
There is some secure parking area just outside the front door.
Guests enjoy the use of a swimming pool, shared with other 11 houses (it's a very underused pool... apart from August, it's usually empty), which is located just a few meters away from the house. This has shallow area for kids and it is surrounded by natural lawn and lovely cultivated flowers. The pebble beach is a 15-minute walk away.

The locality and surroundings... What to do?
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Serra Bernia the white houses of the town cling to the gentle hillside and down to the sea. It’s always a pleasure to stroll through the peaceful Old Town with its narrow streets full of tradional Spanish houses -their whitewashed facades often teeming with bougainvilleas and geraniums. In the Plaza, the cultural and leisure centre of Altea is the Church of the Virgen del Consuelo (Our Lady of Solace). Around the church the streets are a jumble of fashionable shops, restaurants and a high quality craft market. Sit and eat the best in Mediterranean cuisine while enjoying the astounding views. Altea is still a working port and you can watch the fishermen returning in the evening while enjoying seafood and a drink.
Pavement cafés and bars overlooking the Mediterranean invite you to sit and have a drink and just enjoy the ambience of the port, after completing your shopping.
The railway station is 10 minutes walk from the house and provides trains to Alicante, Benidorm and other Costa Blanca towns. But if you chose to hire a car (recommended) take a trip inland and visit tiny, enchanting villages like La Nucia, Polop, Callosa d’En Sarrià, Guadalest, Finestrat... and discover the beauty of the mountains overlooking the sea.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 1 single and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 7 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.
Eating & living
There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is right beside swimming, a food shop.
Close to the villa you will find a beach, wind surfing, fishing, walking, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant.
